The 65th Council of Irish County Associations in London Annual General Meeting was held at the London Irish Centre, Camden on Tuesday 20 February 2018. In attendance were Francie Molloy, Member of Parliament for Mid Ulster (right in photo) and Joe Dwyer, Sinn Fein Political Organiser for Britain. Chairman, Larry O'Leary expressed sincere thanks for everyone's support over the past year which was a busy and rewarding period, with a variety of successful cultural events. Larry stressed the importance of our Welfare provisions and fund raising activities. We wouldn't be able to continue our welfare activities without the generosity of our sponsors and the good will voluntary work of our members. The AGM was well attended and a very successful occasion. MORE IMAGES

Ireland's Six Nations title success on a tumultuous and exhausting final day leaves coach Joe Schmidt delighted and relieved. Captain Paul O'Connell hailed Ireland's history-makers after emulating the feat of the great 1949 team led by Dr Jack Kyle. "To win a championship any year is fantastic," said the Lions and Munster lock.

Ireland crushed Scotland by 70 points to emulate the men's team and secure the Women's Six Nations title on points difference from France. Ireland, World Cup semi-finalists last year, scored 11 tries at Broadwood Stadium, with winger Alison Miller notching a hat-trick of touchdowns. It is a second Six Nations success in three seasons for Ireland, who landed the Grand Slam when they first won the title in 2013.

The CICA celebrated St Patrick's Day with a splendid banquet & dance at the Camden London Irish Centre Saturday 7 March 2015. We were honoured with the presence of the Irish Ambassador to the UK, Daniel Mulhall and the Mayor of Camden, Lazzaro Pietragnoli.

Every one was in high spirits with merriment and quality silver service dining. Two Sound Men provided the musical excellence and were rewarded with a packed dance floor in appreciation. We would like to thank all our sponsors who donated prizes in a fun raffle, raising money for worthy causes. The fun rolled on till late into the following morning. A thoroughly great night and a great success all round.
